The lessons
Short rounds, immediate feedback
A lesson is ninety seconds. See a note, name it, find out straight away whether you were right and why. Get one wrong and it comes back before the lesson ends, so the gaps close instead of quietly widening.
Tap the wrong button by accident? Undo it. It costs you nothing.

Look anything up without leaving

The engraving
Notation that is actually engraved
Clefmap draws with Bravura, the reference font for music notation, positioned on true baselines. A treble clef's curl sits exactly on the G line because that is where it belongs, not approximately where it looks right.
It matters more than it sounds. You are learning to recognise these shapes. They should be the shapes you will meet on real paper.
